The Imperium of Stan is a Space Marine Chapter that worships Stan Smith of the ancient Terran television show American Dad.
The Chapter has a fractured and mysterious history. Little is known about the origins of the Imperium of Stan. Because of this, the Chapter has an unusually high number of Librarians, whose purpose is to find every episode of American Dad and archive it on the Chapter’s homeworld.
Imperium of Stan Space Marines typically refer to themselves as “Dadders”. They believe that Stan Smith from American Dad is the true Emperor of Man and that he will one day rule the Galaxy alongside his trusted Xenos advisor Roger the Alien.
Other main characters from American Dad are also revered or reviled- from Rogu the Sigillite to Klaus the Betrayer.
